Departed after a long illness in the Colorado State Veterans Nursing Home on the Fitzsimons campus.He was preceded in death by his son Stanley A. Ross and daughter in law Miki Ross, he is survived by his wife Elaine and daughter and son in law Julie and Bob Suter, sister in laws Joan Weller, Jan Brandt, and Gary Brandt, numerous well loved nieces and nephews and friends he considered family. Stan has requested that rather than flowers, donations be made to Canine Companions for independence.
