I will remember Marianne best for her hearty laugh and high regard for her German tradition. She loved and took good care of our brother, Richard. She will be missed.

Dear Uncle Richard, I'm so sorry to know that Marianne has passed from this life. You two were always such a beautiful couple and such true companions. It just doesn't seem possible that there could be one without the other. Although her wishes were for a quiet and simple departure, please know that you are surrounded by the love and good thoughts of all. Love from Lana and family.

Dear Richard, we are very saddened and shocked to hear of Marianne's passing. We will always remember her for many reasons. One of them was how she treated us in your home. Marianne would go out of her way to make sure that we enjoyed all the German delicacies that she prepared. She also delighted us with the accompanying classical music she loved. Her smile and sense of humor brightened our day, we will miss her. May she rest in peace. Frank and Maida Gasparik

Dear Richard, We have talked so this is an addendum. I will always remember Marianne for her happy laughter which was so contagious that one had to laugh with her. She was an honest, loving, caring person who was fun to talk to and listen to. She made me feel like a queen with her generous and impeccable hospitality during my few visits. Imagine my joy of finding a fresh flower in a vase in my room each day of my stay. This was but one of her loving gestures. No doubt in my mind that she is now receiving answers to her many questions---from God. May she rest in His love and joy.

Rick, we were stunned. Totally. You know how we feel, at her departure, but you also need to know that we thank you and we thank her, from the bottom of our hearts, for being a part of our lives...past, present, and future.

Rick, we are really sorry for the loss of Marianne. I will always remember her jokes, creativity, laughter, sharing stories about SAM, making my dad laugh during cards, cooking, gardening, all of the starter plants she gave to me, makeup from Dillards, her PURPLE purse she "just loved so much" and many other good times. I hope you are ok and if you need ANYTHING please do not hesitate to call upon us. . . and I mean this from yard work, friendship, whatever! Sincerely, Jeanette Bounds/Douglas Peck
