My dearest Sis-Ter: You were such a little peanut for years, but grew up to the smartest. Through tough times you had Ed & Gil's Finnish SISU (intestinal fortitude or "guts). You traveled to many beautiful places. Mother passed on her love of flowers to you, me, and Martha. Now I know you are where it is always beautiful. I miss you so much but I'll see you someday in the flower garden. Your loving big Sis

Donna, you were my only sister, and you have left a big void in my heart. Gone are holiday visits which were happy and funny, and numeous when we lived in Lakewood. Meals at your house always left one taking seconds. Eddie was a big help to you, especially in the last few years when you required the large containers of oxygen. We made several vacation trips together which were a couple to California, and to Atlanta and Alabama, and a couple to Texas and to Minnesota. Until God gets us together again, adios.

Donna was quite a lady and I did so enjoy being with her at the Red Hat outings and at Bunco nights. I loved her laugh and her sense of humor. It was such a pleasure knowing her and she showed us all how brave she was during the months she was not well. I will miss the friendship we had and the smile each time I saw her. Ed, you were a wonderful "caregiver" and you are in my thoughts and prayers at this time of loss. Fondly, Mary "Mac" McClellan

Bunco Group- Mary "Mac" McClellan

What a fun and wonderful lady Donna was and with her passing leaves our Bunco Group without her laughter and "blowing on the dice". There are about 20 ladies in our Bunco group and we met once a month and Donna was a special part of our group. It was always a fun evening for all of us. We will all miss her greatly but remember her always. We were all fortunate to have been part of her life. Ed, you and the family are in our prayers. God Bless her Soul. Fondly, The Bunco ladies.

Eddie: My heart goes out to you at this time of your sorrow. Donna will be missed by all who knew her. My only regret is that we lived so apart that we did not get to see each other as often as we would have liked. I was thinking this morning of some of the things that that happened when she would visit us on the farm. I remember one time when she was milking a cow and it kicked her and spilled the milk.

Donna was an outstanding example of everything one could wish for in a true friend--loyal, caring, supportive, and sensitive. Her friendship was a wonderful gift and privilege that greatly enriched our lives. Her courage and determination these last few months as her health rapidly declined was a further illustration of the wonderful character and personality that was Donna. In time we will recall the many, many happy times with Donna and Ed (and there were many). She is gone--but will never be forgotten.

Dearest Aunt Donna, you were always like a second mother to me - always kind, loving, nurturing and laughing. I will always remember your laugh, "fish pizza" (at Dino's in Lakewood), our fishing trips with me in the back of the camper, spending weekends at your house on 1st Ave - all of those memories are so joyful for me. I love you Aunt Donna and Uncle Ed. You will always be in my heart. Love, Ned

Donna was a wonderful, generous and loving person. She was a friend to be treasured because she would always come to your help if needed. Even though very ill at times, her vivacity and love of life was extraordinary. She leaves a large hole in our hearts and she is already sorely missed.

Donna, I'm going to miss you very much. You were the sister I never had. All of us had a wonderful time over the years. Now you are reunited with your mother and your relatives that have gone before. Maybe you can join forces with the 1st Sgt ( my mother) and boss Jock around. All of your family and friends will make sure Ed gets through this. I will be praying for you. Love XOXOXO's Mary
